Hello, I have a Phenom II X6 1090T (I know its an old cpu, but still does its job for me) and a few days ago I overclocked it from 3.2 ghz to 3.8 ghz and after some testing I found a stable voltage of 1.525v vcore, but the problem is that despite not displaying any errors or bluescreens, it gets pretty hot, like 70 degrees celsius max. So can you give me some tips on how to get the temperature more stable? BTW I have multiplier set to 19x and stock bus speed of 200, my PSU is Raidmax Cobra RX-700AC-B and my motherboard is Gigabyte GA-MA-770T-UD3. Ive seen people overclocking this CPU up to 4.2 ghz but I am hardly able to reach a stable 3.8 ghz.

hi,
first off you are taosting your gpu with 1.525v vcore, keep that under 1.4.
second the cpu max temperature is 69 degree before throttling and shutdowns, you need to keep that under 65 or 60 degrees ideally.
Google MA-770T-UD3 + Phenom II X6 1090T for overclocking guide.

Thanks for the info, I will try to find the overclocking guide. Also I found in my bios it says that normal vcore is 1.475v. Does that mean I can go higher than 1.4v?
