My pc keeps hard crashing. I have to completely shut off my PC and when I go to boot it up again it refuses to fully turn on, the fans spin but nothing else works (display doesn't get picked up as well as keyboard and mouse). This usually goes on for 30 minutes to a couple of hours where it randomly decides it can now turn on again. Below is a screen shot from what my CPU, GPU, RAM usage, etc. was like at the time of a crash. It doesn't blue screen.

My specs:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 1660-Ti
Drives: Pcie SSD 512GB, Seagate Barracuda 1TB (2016)
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C16 2x8GB
PSU: cx550m

With it throwing all these Event 41 and nothing else tends to lean towards PSU. Event 41 can be throw for any unexpected shutdown, but commonly when other items are at play one would see other Events as well. Nothing else in Critical or Error fields?

Keeping the system clean of dust?

What BIOS revision are you on?

Your temps seem fine and are well controlled in the screenshot you posted. I did have an R7 1700 that would flake out when it got just about 70C, but that doesn't seem to be the case with yours.

All the events in critical are the same yes, these are the events in error, quite a lot.

Check those other errors on Google (or similar) when in proximity to the power off crash and see if it points to anything.

I thought you had listed motherboard.

It can be dangerous to update BIOS when having intermittent power issues like this, because if it crashes while loading the mobo is a door stop without dual BIOS. It would be advisable to look and see if that is the most up to date BIOS version that still supports your CPU. Often times (and particularly if a 3xx chipset) the later BIOS revisions help with things like RAM compatibility and CPU microcode.

Would it be safe to run prime95. I cant really determine what is causing the Event 41 error. It happens when I'm gaming but that is it. If it turns out I have a faulty component would that most likely mean I have to go out and get a brand new one? Also thanks for the replies.
