Problem with pc

Hey guys, as some of you know about a two months ago I build my first pc ever *exciting right!* and everything was going fine untill today my pc decided not to turn on. Immediatly I checked out everything I could think of to come up to conclusion that my gpu must be dead, the reason being is that my pc runs fine when I plug in different gpu *6450 piece of shiiizlee right* but won't work with my 7950 (twin frozr), my psu is corsair builder 750, any help appriciated thanks.

Your GPU should be the only issue, what CPU is it?

i5 2400, and yh I did read that it could be a ps problem but I'm not sure

The thing is, even without the GPU, your PC should start up - try taking it out and starting it up. Don't put another in.

Okay so here is the thing,after i unplug psu and plug back in my gpu fans will start up for a second and when i try again it won't even move until i repeat the process, not sure what's wrong but going to do what you told me to now. Thanks

+1 - sounds like you got positive and negative the wrong way round.

As its a keyed plug that is unlikely.

Yup, i can't plug it in any other way, any other solutions?
