[SOLVED] problem with port forwading

I cant open ports I made a static ip for my pc it doesnt work it says closed images: 1 2

I am opening a space enginners server the problem is my isp is being a jerk and wanting more than 1/4 of the price we pay for the internet just for static ip which it doesnt need to change to normal nat insdead of cgnat

You need to see if running a server is in violation of the terms of your isp service. In many places it is.

You do not need a static IP you need a public IP. It can change but it must be public.

If the ISP uses carrier nat you will never get port forwarding to work. The port forwarding rules must be done in the ISP router. IP addresses are in short supply so they can get away with charging extra for them.

Maybe a VPN provider that lets you have a public IP and not share it will be a option. Of course these are more expensive than a normal vpn but it might be cheaper than what your ISP wants.

Is the public IP address actually assigned to the wan port of your router. If you get a public IP assigned to the wan port then you can likely get port forwarding to work. If they assign you something like 100.x.x.x which is a carrier nat range then you are sharing the public ip with other users.

I have setup noip which makes my public ip same and it starts with 212 what should I make my public ip
so I can port forwad in no ip

You need to verify that the WAN IP address shown on your router matches the public IP address shown in the portcheck tool.

Yes, I mean the info tab. We are trying to ensure that you DO have a public IP address on your router.

OK. That image (which I removed for your privacy) shows you DON'T have a public IP address. You have a 10.x.y.z. You will not be able to port forward.
There is a router ahead of you that is preventing that.

You have to ask your ISP if you can get one free, buy one from them or you can change your ISP.
You can also setup a VPN to a service that allows you to port forward.

ok they want 25tl for a statik ip which is like more than 1/4 of the whole internet cost sooo I am proably gonna change isp btw if you are wondering 25 tl is around 3.40 dollars which is a lot because I get 30 cents per hour when working at a computer repair shop so yeah

Thank you for sharing your income--it's hard for people in the US to see how little people are getting paid in other countries without info like this.
