Okay so I've recently built my first PC and I've run into some trouble with my graphics card. When I connect it with my power supply and start up the computer my monitor says "no signal". After I start the computer with it unplugged (which works fine) and plug it in the two fans will start running but the computer doesn't seem to recognize the card at all.

I've tried a number of fixes including:

Downloading drivers: Driver manager won't work
Messing with bios settings: no effect
Updating BIOS: Pretty sure it's updated (I think it said 9/7/14)
Clearing CMOS: no effect
Downloading drivers from disc: Doesn't work
Updating other drivers: no effect

One solution I thought of is getting a VGA to HDMI converter and plugging the monitor into the Card instead of the Mobo, but that wouldn't fix driver/recognition issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this is in the wrong section or if it's worded poorly.

update: was reading more forum posts and someone mentioned a program called "DriverEasy." I installed it and it actually detected the card but said it was unplugged. Going to download the driver from it and see how that works.
