problem with razer black widow ultimate battlefield 4 edition

i bought this about a year ago and today it just stopped responding. i mean i lights up but the keys wont respond, or the macro keys do but none other. at the same time my razer taipan stopped working too, or the clicking stoped working, i could move the mouse but the clicking wouldnt work. so im asking if this might be a problem with my motherboard or if the keyboard just died... about a month ago lightning strook and took out my power supply and ethernet port, do you think this is connected???

Try the keyboard on another computer - if it fails there - it's the keyboard. If it works fine on the other computer, try to hook it back up to your computer and see if it works (try a different port). If it fails again, it is the motherboard.

i tried that. i connected it to my laptop at it took out the keyboard there too. after some thinkering i got the laptop keyboard to work again. i have restarted the computer and still nothing. i tried another keyboard on pc and that works. i have no idea whats wrong

well. now i can basicly write but the "s" key is now kind of bugged. it writes a s like every second and if i write something it just speeds up the prosses. WTF

I would venture to say that your keyboard is defective. I do not know if it was related to the power surge you experienced earlier this year. By using it on the laptop and it fails AND a new keyboard works on your computer - 99.99% sure on this one.
