Hello I have AMD radeon RX 5600XT. I want to play counter strike 2 with resolution 1280x960 with black bars. I made custom resolution in amd software. GPU scaling is on and Scaling mode is preserve aspect ratio. When I launch the game the game is stretched. How can I fix this issue? I was reading some forums and learned that it could be monitor issue. I read that I need to setup my Image ratio to aspect ratio. Now it is "wide" and the button is greyed out. How can I switch it to the aspect ratio? I tried CS2 on laptop with Nvidia graphics card. I wasnt able to switch to GPU scaling, but when I clicked function "override the scaling mode set by games and programs" this function fixed the problem and game had right resolution and it was with black bars. How can I switch the monitor settings or can I fix it in amd software and if yes where can I find it?

How can I switch the monitor settings
it's up to the specific monitor.
many just have an auto-fill action that fills the entire screen no matter what.

even if the GPU is set to output to a certain aspect ratio, the display is going to use that image to fill the entire screen.

you can try display settings for the OS and see if it can produce a similar affect that the display may take as full screen, but i doubt it.
