I just built my new computer and have windows 7 installed on my ssd. Everything seems to be working fine, except my 1TB samsung spinpoint f3 hdd is not showing up. It appears in the BIOS, but when I try to format it in Disk Management, I select the options, and it says formatting...
then a few minutes later I get an error and disk 1 (my samsung hdd) does not even show up in disk management anymore. I tried unplugging and trying a different sata port, and it will show up, then disappear in the middle of formatting.
Am I doing something wrong? or is my hdd possibly defective?
