So, if I understand correctly, your problem is; When the OSD is accessed, it won't go away, although you can move around in the OSD, going into menus and such, but not exit it?

Can you find an option called "OSD timeout" or something similar in the menus? If so, set it to a value like 5 seconds, or 10 seconds, and save changes to see if it disappears after that time.

I can make it go away, but the problem is that the OSD pops up randomly. I'm not clicking the buttons when it pops up.

The OSD just stays on the screen constantly
so, this was actually incorrect?

if it actually does go away and then reappears with no user input then it can just be a flaw with the monitor itself.
possibly the button is loose in it's fitting and vibrations on the desktop make it activate.

do you have any Dell monitor control software installed that allows accessing the OSD?

I don't think I have any software that allows accessing the OSD. The issue randomly appears and usually I can get rid of it by pressing a button on the back, but sometimes that doesn't work either and it just stays there for a while.

Today I started getting the same error, OSD just randomly pops up and I cannot control it with stick or buttons.

Edit: I also tried updating Dell Display Manager, but it did not help
