Question Problem with the volume remote

I recently bought a Trust Tytan 2.1 speaker set for my PC (This exact one: https://www.trust.com/en/product/19019-tytan-2-1-speaker-set-black). Everything was fine, nice audio, decent bass, but today I noticed that the volume remote that sits on top of the table controls bass now. Everything is connected correctly, I checked like 30 times, I couldn't find any volume/bass controlling switch on either the remote or the subwoofer. I'm at a loss for words because I literally have no idea what could be wrong. The only thing that changed recently, is that I did a fresh install of Windows 10 yesterday, but I doubt that could be the problem since it's the same deal when I connect my phone or my laptop to the speakers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
