Problem with third party camera app (android)

When i record with any third party app on my samsung s6 the video gets saved with a thumbnail, but when i play it only sound and a still image plays back. After the video has ended however, the actual content plays without sound. Putting it in sony vegas doesn't work as it is only a still image with sound.

I have tried resetting my phone to factory settings, but it didn't work.

Man this app is nightmare. I tried it on my Note 4 6.0.1 and it keeps crashing. It doesn't even let me select 4k, I can only record in HD and FHD and when I click stop recording app just crashes, it however saves the video, many other buttons just force close the app. There is a reason this app has 2.9 stars ratings. Maybe it is not fully compatible with our Galaxies 6.0 TouchWiz UI. Try some other app.

It's not crashing though. I managed to get it working a little. I restarted my phone and cleared the cache which allowed me to record video. It only works when starting the app for the first time after restarting the phone and clearing the cache, if i restart the app i have to redo the process.

But damn, i could record 4k video, with a flat picture profile, at 200mbps. The quality was just fucking amazing, better than most dslr's (except for the glass in front of the sensor)

Hmmm, so the problem is app related only. It could only be fixed if its developer pushes an update, no other way, you can just wait :S
You could also report to them.
