Greetings!
I'm trying to let my Windows 10 PC emit a dolby 5.1 signal with the use of a Sweex USB sound card and a Pioneer VSX-C300 amplifier, but I can't figure out why it's not working.
So, the USB sound card is hooked up to the amplifier with the use of an optical cable and to my PC. The speakers are working fine, I tested them with a DVD-player and it gave me surround, but when I'm trying to play audio from the PC, it's only using the the frontspeakers and the subwoofer.
I have installed the USB Multichannel Audio Device software and when I test the setup with that, the left and right surround just comes from the two frontspeakers. I have also configured the USB Multichannel Audio Device in the PC sound options to play 5.1, but it just doesn't seem to listen.
Now I don't think there is a problem with the amplifier, since the surround worked with the dvd player on the same settings.
Might someone be able to help me with this issue?
