Dear all,

I have the following problem.
Our company's website work everywhere perfectly in all browsers.
But in the company in doesn't work at internet explore with www(works without)

it works with www at internet explore if i put dot after com (www.************.com.)

could you please assist?

Solution
So, when Kaspersky is running in the client it won't let it browse to www.yourcompany.com?

In this case you'd need to add the URL to it's exclusion list, not the trust zone (though leave that just in case).

Or is it that Kaspersky is installed in the server and it's not allowing ppl from the inside network to access via www.yourcompany.com?

In such case there's where you need to verify the internal network is in the trusted zones with port 80 allowed (though by default it should be).

Hopefully someone with more experience with kaspersky endpoint security will help you on this.
Sounds like your internal DNS Server doesn't have an internal entry for www.yourcompany.com , but it does have (as it should) have an internal register for domain yourcompany.com (if so it looks like your DNS internal server is also your HTTP Server)

That would explain why using a dot after com (www.************.com.) makes it work, when you type a dot after the URL you're telling your pc to use root DNS servers to resolve the URL.

So... you need to take a look at the config in the DNS Server, I don't know if your company is using an internal DNS Server for both internal and external DNS requests, one for each or if you're using a 3rd party DNS Server, so that's up to you to work around.

Gents,

I have found the reason why i cannot open web page with www at Internet Explore

We have Kaspersky Endpoint Security, when i close kaspersky it works.
I added to trust zones and other but it doesn't work, any ideas ?
