Hello.

My Wi-Fi keeps alternating between "connected", "connected but no internet", "can't connect to this network" and "some information changed since you last connected to this network". Alternates maybe every 30 seconds. Can't use it any more.

Any fixes? Thanks!

Did you ever resolve the issues in your other thread?
Yes and no. I can get into my control panel but I have to unplug a cable from my Smart Switch, so it won't ping the wrong default getaway. And this problem occurred after I set a name and password on my Wi-Fi (because I reset the router trying to fix my first problem). I also tweaked with the security settings because Windows was telling me that the security of my wireless network was old.

If you connect directly to your main router (vice going through an intermediate device), do these problems go away?
You mean if I connect, for example, my phone wirelessly directly to my router? Because I'm already doing that. (Very sorry if I understood it wrong because I'm not a native speaker)

Sounds like you need to reset the router to its default settings. Then, setup a secure wifi network and reconnect your devices.

Don't adjust any of the router's default settings. If you still have issues after doing this, then the problem may be on the ISP side.

Do devices connected directly to the router (wired ethernet connection like with a laptop or desktop) have these connection issues?

What is the make/model of this device "cable from my Smart Switch"?

I have yet to reset the router but here are the other answers.

The ethernet cable that was connected from my router to my PC had connection problems. It was constantly disconnecting. But now my pc is connected to my MikroTik RB260GS (the smart switch) and now it's good.

If wired connections work, then the issue is your wireless configuration. Short of resetting the router to its default state, as mentioned earlier, there is nothing more we can do to help.

If resetting the router doesn't resolve the problem, then the router itself is the issue and should be replaced.

Close this thread now. Good luck.
