Hi Everybody,

I've an MSI 760GA-P43(FX) Motherboard with 6 SATA II ports and 2 SATA III ports; when I enter the BIOS setup I can't find the SATA III port: they are not identified.

In the BIOS there are listed only 6 SATA II ports: 4 occupied by DVD / HDD / HDD / SDD and 2 are free.

Can anyone help me to understand which is the problem?

thanks a lot in advance,

Sata 6 & 7 are your sata3 ports and they should be listed in the integrated peripherals section of the BIOS. You should install a sata3 HDD or SSD in sata 6 and another for storage in sata 7. That's what I would do, anyways. The rest of your devices should populate the sata2 ports.
