Question Problems installing Canon Software for my printer

My router and Win 11 PC recognize my Canon TR8622 printer, but the Canon installation program doesn't find it. The drivers are there in the Device Manager, and the printer does show up in Devices and Printers. It also shows up in my print options. How can I get the program to install the software, such as for the scanner, and basic services?

Try running the installation as Administrator by right-click on the program and click "run as Administrator"

Alternatively, try installing in Safe Mode.

I'm sorry that I hadn't responded before now. I tried both. Administrator didn't work, and I wasn't able to work-around safe mode to be able to install. I tried a number of suggestions online, but no luck. The Canon TS9120 printer that I am replacing isn 't recognized by the Canon install software for it, but I can still install the drivers and is recognized by other programs such as scan programs, Word, and photo editing programs, My old TS9120 won't put ink on the page, anymore, even though I replaced the print head about a year ago, and yes, I did make sure that it had ink in the cartridges. The TR8620 was used, but very inexpensive, so it was worth a try. I'm getting a new TR8622A today for its graphics and image quality. If I have similar problems, I can contact Canon for help, since it's brand new .
