so a couple months ago i sold my 2 gtx 760 gpu's to a friend, i havent yet got anymore graphics cards, and i noticed after setting my pc back up from a move, i have some really bad lagging problems just doing basic web searching. can this be due to the fact i have no graphics cards? just the onboard graphics in the i7-4770k? or maybe some settings in the bios? ive got an asus maximus vi formula and 16gb of ram. not sure the problem. thanks in advance.

Web Surfing should not noticeably lag on the Integrated Graphics processor of the i7-4770k.

You should make sure that you have updated the Intel Graphics drivers (which you may not have done of you used external graphics), make sure all other drivers are good and then keep an eye on temps to see if something in the cooling got dislodged during the move.

Edit: I've also thought that maybe what you perceive as "lag" may be a network issue. Use Speedtest.net and see if you have network issues connecting to the outside.

It shouldn't cause web browsing to lag. Now that you switched video sources, have you uninstalled all the old nvidia drivers and made sure the intel hd video drivers are up to date? There was an update recently but can't recall if they were for the 4th or 3rd gen cpu's. It will use some of your system ram as vram but with 16gb you should have plenty (it only uses up to 1.7gb). I could see it in games but not for basic tasks like browsing. Maybe double check the bios to make sure the igpu memory isn't limited to a small amount (most bios have a place to limit igpu vram).
