Problems Occurred during the spin up of HDD

Hello Everyone! I have just bought a Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200RPM. I checked it at the home of the seller and the health was at 100%. I bought it and visited to a shop to buy a new PSU as well which was Corsair a CX600! I came back home i fitted the PSU but when I tried to connect it, i found that it doesn't have a 4-pin connector for my Mobo! I went to another shop and bought a connector. Well after setting up everything I powered up my PC and checked the health of my HDD. It was 100% that time. Power on time of my HDD is around 5 days and the health is reduced to 40%. Temps are always fine. The error says that problems occurred during the spin up of HDD. Click on this link to see a screenshot of HDSentinel:

Intel Xeon E3-1245 V3

500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050Ti Windforce OC Edition
Corsair CX600 Power Supply

Never, ever buy a used hard drive. And never use an adapter to run a CPU or GPU off a Molex cable.

Your CX 600 absolutely comes with the correct connector. It's a 4+4 pin connector, that splits in two, so that it can be used whether the person needs an eight-pin or four-pin connection.

All you can do at this point is connect the PSU properly and see what happens with the hard drive. If it continues to decline at that point, it's scrap metal.

Thanks a lot! I found the connector, splitted it! Now I am gonna test my HDD by restarting my PC 20 times and disconnecting the power cable Everytime. I will respond to this thread after one hour. Please keep following this thread

taimoorbaig382, run Seatools on the drive. It will let you know what state the drive is in. No need to restart PC 20 times in a row.

I restarted my PC 3 times and the problems Occurred during the spin up of HDD is increased to 23 times from 20 times but the health is still at 40%.

Which Seatools should I download? SeaTools Bootable OR SeaTools for Windows

can you mention any specific tests that should I perform? i have not used that software before. By the way it is downloading right now
