Problems of blinking monitor

Hello,
i have the hp lcd flat screen which goes off after some time of its operation say tem ninutes after booted . the video signal with monitor status page come out and after the mouse movement or tapping the mouse the display come on again.
new pc not even a month problem started in a month

However, have you checked the power saving settings and display settings (where applicable)?

Power saver or blank screensaver is set to turn on for 10 mins, turn them off or increase the time.
