Hi! Recently I've been trying to overclock my AMD FX-8350 to 4.8 GHz and have had no luck with it. I used to think it was because it didn't have enough power to it, but i recently got a 650W power supply to see if that helped. But it seems to help a little bit, as it lasts longer that 10 minutes while I am gaming; but it still crashes my PC. The hottest it gets is around 70 C and rarely gets higher than that, right now I have it at 4.6 GHz but I'd rather have it running at full capacity. I would completely blame it on how hot it gets, but I tested this by turning off "Motherboard Over-Temperature Protection" and my PC still crashed while testing it in OverWatch. I have also been overclocking my GPU and I have set the power target to 110% just in case not enough juice has been going to it, so maybe that may be a problem as well.
Here are my PC Specs just to see if it is a compatibility issue:
Asrock 970M Pro3 Micro ATX
AMD FX-8350
Cooler Master Hyper T2
HyperX Fury 8GB
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SSC
-Overclock Specs
Power Target: 110%
GPU Clock Offset: +62
Memory Clock Offset:+625
