Hey guys, i have never built an PC before and want to know common issues/problems to expect when you build your PC for the first time.

Solution
obviously avoid static electricity.
Be careful not to touch the pins when inserting the CPU into the motherboard, they bend easily.
Do not apply too much thermal compound to the cpu heatsink.

Really thats about it. These days you usually have more difficulty with software issues than hardware.
non if you combine compatible hardware's together.to prevent that you can check for the CPU support and Memory support list of the motherboard you chosen and select one of the supported memories and cpu's for the computer.then for the graphic card depending on what you want to do and the cpu performance and brand you can chose a proper graphic.the PSU should be chosen rightly , you should chose the power of the PSU based on the hardware you chosen , also there are some online tools that can tell you how much power you need.the storage and other parts are important but they are second priority.

Also, you can easily plug your pieces parts all into a PCPartPicker list, and it will automatically check if parts are compatible. Definitely do not forget to put standoffs in your case. That can kill your motherboard. Do not touch any of the gold contacts on the motherboard, CPU or RAM. It's alright if you touch the ones on the RAM once or twice on accident, but I wouldn't have the same leeway with the motherboard and CPU.

Here's my pc list:

CPU: i7 6700k
GPU: Waiting for GTX 1070
CPU COOLER: BE QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure Rock
Ram: Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 8GB
Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
Case: Fractal Design Define R5
PSU: EVGA SuperNova G2 750W

I've researched alot and was just wondering if something unexpected annoying would pop up when building a pc. compatibility isn't a problem.
