[SOLVED] Problems using multiple Logitech BRIOs

Hello there. I've been trying to set up a livestream using 5 (!) Logitech BRIOs running at 1080p/60FPS, and I cannot for the life of me get this to consistently work. Some cameras will either disconnect/power off or bar-glitch. After much research the primary issue seemed to be limited USB bandwidth, so I tried many different USB PCIe cards and they all failed pretty quickly. I've tried using powered hubs, powered PCIe cards, and PCIe cards that go up to 10 Gbps PER PORT. Does anyone know why I cannot get these webcams to reliably run, and is there anything I can do to make this work, or am I simply out of luck? I would think with all the crazy gaming graphics rendering that PCs can handle, surely it could run 5 HD webcams.

For reference, I use a Dell XPS 8930 computer.

Did you check with Logitech support? Really the only people that may have an idea are them or someone else that has 5 of those to test, which is not likely.

You could try using multiple computers and converting the webcams to RTSP streams. Then on your main computer, combine all the RTSP streams into what you want.
