Question problems with a system

So I upgraded my system and it worked fine when I turned it on after putting in the hardware. Keyboard and mouse were acting very weird tho. I restarted the pc and the keyboard and mouse fixed itself. when I logged in everything seemed fine. When I tried launching a game on steam it wouldn't launch the same goes for google chrome I turned off my pc and turned it back on but it gave the "reboot and select proper boot device" thingy. I don't know what to do nothing seems to fix it.

What are the original components and what did you try to replace?
