Hi guys,
I recently built a pc and today I attempted to connect it to my old LG TV. I am using a hdmi cable from gpu into the TV. The TV recognises the hdmi cable in the port but I am getting no input when I try to get a picture up on the screen.

I have also tried using an RGB lead from motherboard into the TV but the TV goes into power saving mode when I try to get an input. Any ideas??
I am using an LG FLATRON M2294D-PZ and I have a 500w psu. My gpu is a Palit Gtx 1050 ti.
Thanks

Solution
Then I suggest borrowing one, The tv might not support low resolutions. It would work after installing Windows and the graphics drivers,
Definitely into gpu for hdmi, but there is no rgb slot on gpu so I put that in the motherboard. I am not seeing anything on the screen except the TV telling me there is no input. No bios or anything

Are there any other helpful suggestions? As I currently do not have access to a monitor I want to make sure everything else is functioning properly. The led lights on the motherboard are on and the gpu, CPU, psu and case fans are all working fine? I just can't get picture or audio on the TV. I checked that the ram is in properly, all leads are connected to the motherboard properly. The hdmi lead works on my other TV too. Thanks

I tried it with my much newer TV and the bios came up. Thanks for the suggestions. Turns out the LG TV is too old. I will let ye know if I have anymore problems but for now all good. Thanks very much for the help
