Made new PC few days ago.
Specs are
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte b450m ds3
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 (without OC)
  • GPU: Palit GTX 1660Ti StormX (without OC)
  • RAM G.Skill Aegis 2x8GB, 3000MHz (xmp is on)
  • PSU: Corsair VS 550W
  • Windows 10 64 bit
First freeze occured right after win 10 installation during first boot when it set up all the stuff. Freezes are totally random, waiting isn’t helping, they need restart.
I checked:
  • Temps, bios and core temp showed nothing concerning, under 40C without load.
  • Drivers (made sure to install new ones using driver booster)
  • Windows updates (it apear to be up to date)
I also done some benchmarks to see how it goes under stress including cinnebench and passmark but nothing happened cpu temp never reached more than 72 celcius,
Used ram checking utility build in windows, it showed no errors.
Except freezes and one restart pc is working as intended, I know i should probably do bios update but site is showing 5 different versions an am not sure which one to choose, logic says newest one but it’s describtion says it’s for Athlon 200 series so i dunno. Could anyone tell me if it’s still okay to install that newest bios update? Or maybe some other tips? Sorry for my terrible english.
