Hello gents

Hope everything is alright with you !

Before anything else , im going to leave my rig specs in here :

PSU: cooler master 600w
Motherboard: b450 tomahank msi
CPU : Ryzen 5 2600
RAM: 16gb corsair 2800mhz
SSD 1tb
GPU : 1º rx 580 armour OC 8GB MSI , after Sapphire rx5700 xt nitro+ Special edition

Well , was you can see , o always used my little rx580 it works like a charm, runs a goods fps and very stable , until yesterday.
i buy a sapphire rx5700 xt plug in the pc and the problems start to appear. First i use the amd adrenaline to delete the drivers and install the new ones. Fortnite , with my 580 i always get between 120 144 fps (limited to 144) , with the sapphire , depending of the hour , between 40 - 90 fps. Sometimes get 144fps but drop to 5 fps every 10 sec . its not very consistent . After i read a bit , i use the DDU to delete the drivers and install everything again. Same thing. Get my windows pen , and reinstalled windows , i update the bios of my motherboard , install all the drivers, install the gpu drivers , a little better , but not even close of my rx580. My nerves start to show is true colors , put the sapphire back in the box and put back my rx580. Soo same thing was the sapphire , everything is unstable , i already format the pc for the second time , install everything again , and nothing. Still have this crazy fps drops. Im going to send back the sapphire , becouse this dindt do any sense. Spend 460 pounds in a gpu , and spend hours trying to make this work becouse amd dont have a stable drivers.
Guys , any ideias ? im getting mad with this , and my pc always worked very nice until i plug the sapphire !

PS : I try division , and was soo bad of playing , it was lag everywhere , have drops of fps 20-144fps. resident evil , the same . COD WW actually was the only game where i actually see some improve.

Thanks a lot lads , and sorry for my poor english

I wouldn't blame Sapphire or AMD just yet.

The vast majority of CoolerMaster units are of unacceptable build quality for a 5700xt. What is the model of CM600w?

Do you have a different PSU available?

thanks for your reply
im been monitoring the wattage from the sapphire and never past de 250 watts.
Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite V2 600W PSU, Fully Wired, 80 PLUS, Single Rail , is this one.
and no , i dont have another psu.
Thanks a lot

The 600w is what AMD recommends so the wattage is fine.

However, the MasterWatt Lite models are truly some of the worst ones I have seen.

The summary of this review of that unit concludes "Just buy something else".

So, I would definitely replace it. What is your budget? What options are available?

what you think about this one ?

Yes, that one will work. Price seems pretty decent all things considered right now.

Not that you need the extra wattage, but the TXM 850w is the same price as the 750w and not much more than the lower wattage versions. So id get that.
Great ! is actually one penny more lol ,
I order already , tomorow will be in here. I really hope that is the problem. anyway , tomorow i will be back to give you some feedback .

Thanks a lot for your help ;)

After a little research for PSUs in the same price range (and available)

1.) Seasonic 650W 80+ Gold Focus Plus Series - FULLY MODULAR (because of the 10-year warranty)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Seasonic-Efficiency-Cable-Free-Connection-Performance/dp/B077J9QTDR/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=seasonic+focus&qid=1586532559&s=computers&sr=1-1&th=1

2.) Seasonic 650W 80+ Gold Core-GM Series - Semi Modular (same 7-year warranty)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Seasonic-C...asonic+core&qid=1586532923&s=computers&sr=1-2

3.) eVGA 750W 80+ Gold GQ Series - Semi Modular (5-year warranty?)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-Power-Pack-black-Black/dp/B017NW4NXW/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=evga+g3&qid=1586533015&s=computers&sr=1-5-catcorr&th=1

I concur with NightHawkRMX...the Corsair TX850M is the ABSOLUTE BEST for price/performance/quality/efficiency right now. You do not need the 850W, but since it's a FREE 100W, over the TX750M, why not?

good morning gents
I must say is working like a charm now . before the psu the benchmark on unigine Heaven was 1400. Now , is 3600 . Soo is a big diference. I never think the psu could do this things . I always think that the psu or can support the graffic or not. Soo big thanks for you mate !
