Problems with setting up wireless access point

So i have a Dlink Dir 826 router for my house , my friend recently left the country so he gave me his which is the exact same , I'm trying to set it up as a wireless access point for my Son Because he keeps complaining about his signal , i plugged it in into the pc and set the ip to 192.168.0.22 and went to google and looked up 192.168.0.50 and nothing showed up .

you need to input the same IP as the router to get into the setup page (192.169.0.22)...

How did you set your IP to 192.168.0.22 in the first place? To Access the settings again you need to reset the router (press the physical reset button) and folow this guide step by step https://www.wikihow.com/Connect-One-Router-to-Another-to-Expand-a-Network.
