So, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask about this, but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and need to reach out to see if anyone has any suggestions.
I'm on Windows 10, have 2 drives (HDD for files, SSD EVO M.2 for Windows), 16 GB RAM, Ryzen 7 2700X, and a Geforce 1080ti.
A few days ago, Destiny 2 kept having this "Verify Integrity of Files" error. And some of my programs were crashing in weird ways. I had so much crap on my PC, I decided I was just going to do a clean install and start all over again. Except, the clean install didn't go well. The ISO flash drive I made kept erroring (We can't reset this PC loop). So, I found my old Windows 10 flash drive I bought a couple years ago. That worked better and I got back into Windows.
But, the problems kept occurring. Every time I tried to copy files from my back up external HDD to my internal HDD, the PC would either freeze or blue screen. Then, whenever I install programs, they tend to work mostly, but occasionally crash and Windows says it can't launch the program. A reset fixes it for awhile, but then it happens again. On top of that, Destiny 2 still crashes and pops up with "Cannot read game. Please verify integrity of the files."
I don't know what's going on. Is my motherboard going? Is it one of the hard drives? A bad Windows 10 install? I don't know where the best place to start trying to get to the root of this issue.
Some advice would be greatly appreciated. If I didn't provide any information that may be helpful, please let me know and I'll post it asap.
