Problems with the AverMedia LGP Lite on OBS

I recently bought the LGP Lite with the en tension of using a second PC to stream my main PC with OBS. The problem I'm having is that the video is delayed and when I play a game it lags a lot! Please help me as I have been waiting a while for this product and really wan't it to work!

Did you install Stream Engine? How about using RECentral?

I did install Stream Engine and I don't want to use RECentral because I want to use a webcam and follow alerts etc.

Ever adjust Video settings (e.g. lower bit rate, resolution...) and got improved?
