It looks like I am going to put the old spinning disk hard drive back in the laptop and extract the drivers that WERE on it and then set them so they can not update. After I did a clean install on this laptop the only monitor port that will work is the old analog. HMMMMM that does not feel right to me. I used PC mover to make a file that I will then use to restore many apps and such and all the files. I like that part. I am new to PC mover but it says you can extract files from a image. I made a image with macrium though not PC MOVER. This laptop's display port did work and I do see a bit of loss in quality with the analog. Its got to be a inside thing that I do not know about. I looked at the BIOS and not much to see there for turning a display port on and off.

This is just weird. The driver is up to date as far as HP says.

The installer was from Microsoft, a actual flash drive from Microsoft was used to install the windows 10 pro
Also it is a intel graphic chip for the GPU ? It is using a intel driver. I will give the ddu a shot THX

If there is a utility that has the ability to extract drivers I can put the old hd back in and extract them. Or maybe go to the macrium image I made of the system and possibly find out what version by grabbing the INF ? but not sure how it all works. This feels a lot like when you install the latest drivers for a printer and they wont make the printer work right no matter what and you need the drivers off the CD that came with the printer.
