Processor and Motherboard upgrade.

Hi!
I want to upgrade my processor and motheboard from an AMD A8 to an Intel i5 or AMD FX. My question is, i can upgrade from AMD A8 to Intel or an AMD FX without reinstalling windows? Or i can do the upgrade without loose any programs or data?

You will need to reinstall Windows, but you should back up your data first. Hopefully you have your games installed onto a second hard drive.

You *MAY* get away with only doing an OS Repair, but even if you do, it's still always better to perform a clean installation. 99% of the time, an OS install is required when upgrading motherboards.
