Processor for this build?

i5's are great processors for gaming, the 750ti will bottleneck first.

Even it did work, I would not go less than a i3-4150. I would probably get an i5 unless my budget were very limited.

Like TheMentalist said, an Intel Core i5 would be great. Most likely the i5-4460, as its the cheapest Haswell-Refresh i5 right now. With a lower end card like that, you probably could still could do great with an i3 (4150 3.5Ghz). Even, an Haswell-Refresh Pentium. I have a CPU equal to a modern Pentium, and I play my games fine with my HD 7790 (<750Ti) at 900p.

I'm in the process of collecting the parts for a i3 4150/750ti system for a teacher at school. (Productivity and moderate gaming)
