btw will there be a PSU issue ? i currently have 500w PSU

Solution

The i5 will be better in most games. It costs more, but you get what you pay for.

The 750 Ti...
Simple answer: Yes. It's enough to play game relatively well, the gfx card isn't going to be cranking out high on 1080 for most modern games but the CPU and mobo is good enough.

If you want performance that isn't much different, you could go with an AMD route with something like a FX 6300 and a AM3+ motherboard. I doubt you'll see much improvement with the Intel CPU.

EDIT: The AMD Route is cheaper, that's why I say that

The motherboard and CPU are fine, but you should look into upgrading to at least a 760 for 1080p gaming.

this should be fine for you to start with, the 750 can handle a decent amount of games (you won't be maxing much out), but the i5 will blow away most amd chips... and it's a lot easier to upgrade a graphics card than redoing a mobo/cpu...

You could get a more balanced solution going the amd route.

as a starting point: logicalincrements.com can offer a little more insight on balancing things

my brother told me about that but i dont know much about AMD .. will the FX 6300 and AM3 + mobo be enough to play smooth gameplay ? and btw GTX 750 isn't compatible with the AMD mobo right ? or will it work ?

The 750 Ti will work fine with an AMD board. This MSI 760 would be better for 1080p gaming, though. It's around $70 more than a 750 Ti. The 750 Ti is fine for many games, but a 760 is still a nice upgrade.

i'd maybe go with the 6300, and maybe one of these boards: GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P
ASUS M5A97 R2.0... I typically get a better air cooler for AMD chips... and depending on your budget, go with a 750/760 nvidia card or R9270, or even get a 660ti or above if you can find a good deal on them.
