Product key problem on Acer Aspire 4752

Good day everyone, as the the title suggest, i have a problem with my windows 8 product key on my Acer aspire 4752(Laptop).

This Aspire 4752 is newly bought by my father on saudi arabia. It performs really good and i have no problems since it is given to me that time.

The laptop is used for light works only(Word, Powerpoint, Internet and Excel). I just used it for 7 times only.

The problem started after my 3rd automatic windows 8 update. So i shut down the laptop, and after logging off it says windows automatic update so i wait for it to finish.

The next day, during boot it says configuring update. and after that finished, it says that i need to activate my product key! I was so worried and sad because i don't know what happened. I look for solutions but i can't find one.

It just new and i am so afraid my father might get angry with me because i broke the laptop. I search my product key through the magic jellybean and tried to retype the key but it said it is the default one and it cannot be used again.

Guys i really need to know my course of action on this one. I am just a teenager and don't know how to call microsoft or any acer service providers.

Only included is the laptop itself, the quick guide, warranty and the Linux CD. No windows 8 CD or any windows 8 related stuff.

Use the Microsoft automated Phone service to activate your product.If it's legit it will activate.

The key is already in there.
"Activate next time it goes online" (or words to that effect)

If it doesn't, you'll have to call MS. "Activate by phone".
It's easy. Robot phone call, you enter a string, the MS robot gives you a string back to enter.

If that doesn't work....it may not be a valid Windows key.

As mentioned you should only have to click "ACTIVATE NOW" or whatever on the pop-up window, not enter a new code and it will activate. It SHOULD have been pre-activated though.

If you aren't getting the proper windows then follow this path:
Control Panel\System and Security\System

Now click on the Activation link and try to Activate your laptop. It is an issue with Windows so you'd call Microsoft Support as mentioned if still stuck.

If you have issue with the new Start Screen, you may wish to buy the $5USD program Start8 from Stardock.

thank you for the replies. it seems that my product key is blocked. it is giving me the error code 0xC004C003. what might have been the cause of the blockage of the product key? Before I call Microsoft activation center, may i ask again if a blocked product key can be used again through calling the Microsoft activation center?

That key is blocked , you will have to call microsoft , it will not activate.

You will have to purchase a key to activate , as this was probably a MSDN account key that was illegally sold.
