Question program files (86)

I made 2 partitions and wanted the "program file(86)" in the d drive and it went there but the programs are not functioning properly
so I would like to transfer the "program(86)" back into the c drive
can someone plz help?

You have to make this selection on install as (the .exe) can't find the files it is pointed to. Do you have a system restore option going where you can set the system back to a date before you made this move?

yes i made a system restore but that doesn't do anything
its still the same?

My assumption would be that you have already tried just cutting and pasting the folder back into the appropriate place...This might be best solved with a clean install if you have all your program install disks and keys.

That's a system controlled location and cannot be moved as you did. A full wipe and reinstall is the only fix. And this time leave things as they are. If you want things installed on another drive then do so at installation time.
