I am trying to install Motiv Mix, a program for Shure microphones. The UAC prompt pops up, I accept, the program runs for about 1 to 2 seconds and then stops running. No error message or anything. I have watched it pop up and disappear in task manager. I have tried to install in safe mode also, but the same thing happens.

Any help is appreciated, thank you for your time.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing some related error codes, warnings, or even informational events.

Yes, that is the program I am trying to install.
I do not see anything in the event viewer that looks like that program.
I updated my post to show the system specs.

In Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer look for some error code, warning, or even informational events that appear only when you installed Motive Mix or attempted to open the program.

Use Reliability History/Monitor. Much more end user friendly and the time line format may reveal some pattern.

The culprit may not necessarily reveal itself as "Motive Mix".

Remember you can open Reliability History/Monitor and take a screenshot or two.

Select days when the errors/problems occurred. Expand the window so all can be clearly seen are read.

Take the screenshot and post the screenshot(s) here via imgur (www.imgur. com > green "New post" icon).

This app?

From Details (fine print): Not recommended for ARM-based PCs.

You can check:

Also: Delete the app and download it again. The original download may have been corrupted or buggy.

Possibly just quietly fixed....
My CPU is not ARM-based. I have redownloaded the installer multiple times already. I'm hoping for a fix soon, thank you for the suggestion though.

I am running out of ideas.

For the moment:

1) After reading back: are you able to take and post a screenshot of that UAC window that pops up? Wondering about that BRC340.tmp file (faulting application). Do you have the necessary admin rights to install Motiv Mix?

2) Perhaps move this thread from Windows 11 over to Home Audio & Theater.

Someone there may know about/use Motiv Mix.

I do have administrator rights on my pc.
Imgur is giving me issues, but here is what comes up on the UAC.

I do not have any other Shure apps installed. I did have the Shure plus installed, same as the people in that thread. But I removed Shure plus with Revo, so there shouldn't be anything left over.

Also, the people in that thread have motiv mix installed, and can't get it to connect with the microphone. My issue is that the program won't install.

If it helps, I am in contact with Shures tech support, and they are lost also. This isn't an isolated incident, they know there are sometimes issues with it not installing on gaming PCs.

Thank you for the continued help though, it's appreciated.

Revo is good, no doubt, but if me I would go through my registry looking for any remains of Shure in it (if so, manually remove).

In addition, I would inspect Services to see if anything is still running and I would verify all previous folders were indeed gone.

Ok, I checked both after uninstalling the microphone drivers, so there would be no confusion. I didn't find anything running, or in the registry from Shure,
