I just bought the new Dell Venue 8 7480 tablet, and I have the Dell Inspiron 15R 5537. All my programming for my classes and experimenting by myself, I've been doing it on my laptop but since I bought the tablet I'd like to know if there is a way that I could start coding a new program and copy it to the tablet so I can continue programming on the go so I don't have to carry with the laptop since it can be pretty heavy after a while. Also, If there are any programs that I can use that can do the job or some personal experiences someone has had with this that could help.

Well Its an android table so if you are coding using some special windows software won't work that way unless you can find programs on the Play Store

But you do have a few options. If you have Wifi at your class you can leave your laptop on at home and then use like Team Viewer to remote into it and code on your laptop, though your tablet at school.

Now if you can find apps to make it work you can use something like Google Drive or Drop Box and save all your projects there and then open them up from there on your table/laptop and it will all be synced together

Most of the time I code in c++, java and lately been learning html. I'm still trying to learn as much as I can, don't have much experience.

That's a pretty good idea, didn't thought of that. I'll try that if I can't find a compatible program with Windows and Android. Thanks.

There is a program called Droid Edit that i use for my HTML editing. Not sure about C++ and Java. There is a free version and a Paid Version. very nice. Its like using Dream Weaver at least on the code site. It can color code everything for you, get files though FTP or Local share ect.
