Whenever I try to open steam, teamspeak, almost any program it will work for a few seconds then crash when i try to click anything (like playing a song on Itunes or trying to connect to a server on teamspeak)

I recently just switched from a wired connection to a wireless network card but I don't think that would be the problem. and to add I just moved to a House but I did not drop my pc or handle it rough ni anyway.

I'm really confused on why this is happening

any help would be appreciated.

Wait... are the crashes happening just on audio type programs? If so, then it sounds like it could be a corrupted audio driver. Have you tried going into Device Manager and seeing if you had any yellow icons there? If that's the problem you'll have to uninstall that... restart... then reinstall that driver.

Other programs are doing it to (steam, chrome, and a few other non audio programs are doing it to. I'm thinking it might be my hard drive but i have no way to check because i get stuck in an infinite shutdown process when i try to do the hard drive check on restart
