Projector Network Setup... HELP ME!!!

I just bought a used projector that has LAN on it. It is a PJD6221 by ViewSonic.

I plugged one end of my RJ-45 into the projector, and the other into my wireless router.

I found the projector's IP address in the menu and plugged it in to my web browser...
I get a pop up that says it needs a username/password.

I plugged in the username/password specified in the manual and it doesn't work!

Is there any way to bypass a preset password from the previous owner and get in? Please Help!!

If Admin and no password does not work, I would contact ViewSomic and ask them how to perform a Factory Reset via the RS232 connection.

maybe there is a reset button inside the projector.

Alexb870 I suggest below steps

1. I suggest you to ping in your wireless router username / password and check. As your projector going to access internet through your router, so projector need to take permission from router for access.

2. If don't work then go to settings and try for company reset, find it , it will be in menu.

3. Still you don't get solution, visit the project company website and try to download bios/firmware for upgrade.
