So I have the graphics card, CPU cooler, case, power supply, and my motherboard and RAM are arriving in about a week. I’m wondering if I should build the pc without the CPU and storage to see if my computer will turn on to make sure all my components are working properly, I’m not sure if this will work. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Solution
wait for the CPU.
Power On Self Test or POST will not complete without the CPU and any boot that does not POST tells you nothing at all.
wait for the CPU, then the POST can complete and you can ascertain something.

Alright, thank you for helping Herald I’m probably going to turn it on to see if the motherboard is working properly since it’s directly connected to it.
