i just got done getting a resolution problem fixed or at least i think i did.
well i went to the places that i was supposed got the new video drivers
downloaded. and i saved the files and stuff. the download said it was
successful. so then thought that i shoudl restart the computer to make sure
that the problem was fixed. but nothing changed. so i went to go and manually
change the resolutions on the properties window. but when i had the problem i
couldnt change the resolution by dragging the bar across. so i did the right
click on the desktop to pull up the properties window and it wont come up. so
i went to control panel-appearances and themes-and clicked on change my
screens resolutions. and that wont work either. can some one help me? i have
had this low resolution problem for about 6-7 months now and i really want it
to be over with. thanks Joey

I can't be sure if I can help - but if I go by what you say - you
downloaded the drivers, and your download was successful, but did you
install the new drivers? or are they just sitting there in your download
folder, waiting and waiting to be installed?

I am not sure how to install the new drivers - I have been there but now I
forgot.. I want to say go to control-panel\add-hardware, but I am not
sure... I am not sure which folder you put he new drivers in...
