Hey guys,
I'm a writer, musician, and student; and I will be dropping 1500 on a new build for those purposes as well as moderate Gaming and Video Editing. I use Indesign and Ableton Live 9 Suite (64 bit) heavily and daily. I will also be Video Editing in Premiere Pro CC, Photo Editing in Photoshop CC, and Gaming. I'll be using most of the CC Applications as well as 64 bit Ableton and a handful of other music applications. Is there any reason I would need more than 16gb high speed ram? Would I be able to get by on a GTX 960 rather than 970? (I'm really not concerned with 90 FPS on Ultra Game settings. Any insights or observations would be much appreciated, here's my build:

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My writing and self-publishing of zines, poetry chaqpbooks and novellas as well as my Music are alongside my education in being my priorities in life.I will have the money but not anything else to really spend it on, and my Dell 14z (i5 3317u, 8 gb ram, AMD HD 7570m, small SSD for boot) is just not cutting it and is a profound hindrance. Also, I've been a life-long gamer and have always dream of a moderately powerful PC.
