Hi guys, I'm not sure what's the cause of this problem, but I've been having it for awhile and I have no idea where to start to find solutions.
After hours of usage (I can't pinpoint how long, but it is generally hours of usage), my PS/2 Keyboard would stop working for a brief moment (like 1-2 seconds), reconnect by itself.
When this happens, my keyboard starts acting slow.
When I type, it doesn't feel as responsive. Like when I press and hold one button down it would:
[type that letter] -> [wait about 0.5 seconds] -> [repeatedly type that letter; about 25-35 words per second]
However, when the problem starts happening it would:
[type that letter] -> [wait about 0.5 seconds] -> [repeatedly type that letter; about 7 words per second]
I can recreate the problem by simply disconnecting and reconnecting the PS/2 cable, or I can freshly restart my computer and the problem is guaranteed to happen after a certain number of hours of usage.
I also have a USB wireless keyboard always connected when I want to work from a different place. Funny thing is, despite PS/2 keyboard acting funny, the USB wireless keyboard seems unaffected.
My PS/2 keyboard is this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823201042
I've been fighting this for a month now and I can't seem to find a solution. Please help me.
