PS3 40GB or 60GB refurb?

first 3 months ago I got YLOD, then my brother gave me his ps3 that doesnt read discs even if I switch bluray drives from YLOD ps3. so sold that ps3 yesterday.....today I went to the pawn shop and got a ps3. i asked " does this ps3 works?" "yes, we try them out before we sell them" I get home and reformat the ps3(2hours) then INSTALLED 3.01. so after that i deleted the old account and made mines. signed in. put in a disc and this clock in the corner is just going around in circles.

60gb version was the only one with wi fi support as far as i know
