Ps3 not working with sony ps3 3d tv

I recently bought the new 24 inch ps3 3d tv and i plugged my ps3 to the tv with the hdmi cable but its not showing a screen like wtf I don't get why its not working i plugged in the tv turned the power on, plugged in my ps3 turned that on and the tv is showing a blinking orange colour i don't know what to do can somebody please help me I don't want to figure out that i bought this *** for nothing

Change the video setttings.

Also, try this:

Make sure the system is off.
Hold down the Power Button for 5-6 seconds - until you hear the second beep.
That's it, your video settings are reset and you should be able to choose your input and configure it from there.
