PS3 says i must have 80Gb of free space to download any thing, why?

For example say i want to go download a game that is only 2GB big. An error comes up saying i need to have atleast 80Gb of free space to download even though this game is 2GB. And i this on everything from 100MB and under up to 40GB downloads. Always says 80GB.

No idea - this is a limit set by Sony.
