PS3 Update

Please I need help , cannot update my PS3 perhaps via a dvd , could someone direct me in what to do , as i have only nti software or nero>>>>>

Yes , I know thanks for that , however I have downloaded the update , ansd its sitting in my download folder.

Managed to connect windows media player 11, but cannot see the download folder in it to run. Please understand that yes i am a novice at all this but , trying >>>

I need this update 3.55 in order to play a game , and it frustrates me . So if you can help please do.

Have you connected your PS3 to the internet? If not, then that is a good first step.
