Hello, I recently purchased a PS4 slim through a second hand deal. Everything was fine and worked great. I even turned it on in my own home and saw it boot up. However, I wanted to upgrade the storage. After turning off the PS4 completely, I took out the hard drive to replace it. (I am very self consicous about grounding, so I grounded myself every 2 minutes). After replacing the hard drive, I tried to install the software but was greeted to an error message saying "The USB storage device is not connected (SU-41333-4)". I tried again with several hard drives before giving up and putting the original back in.
However, I now get the message "Cannot start the PS4. Connect the dualshock 4" followed by the same message of telling me to do a system update with version 9.03 or later. When I tried to do so, I still get the previous error code "The USB storage device is not connected". I press ok and then it restarts and loads me back to the "Cannot start the PS4" screen. I am 100% sure that it is not a hard drive issue because I put that same hard drive into a donor PS4 and it instantly booted up. I also plugged it into my computer to make sure that it still spun. If you can help me figure this out, then I will be extremely thankful
