Ps4. Headset Audio

This isn't a pc related question but no one answers my ps4 headset works well on all my other devices(phone ipad etc.) but when I plug it into my ps4 controller it cuts off works well then cuts off I've dropped it a few time so I'm pretty sure that can be the problem and the vibration acts weird sometimes and the analog sticks as well is there any fix for this I don't really wanna spend the money for a new remote

It's an iffy solution but if you're confident you can try to open up the controller and see if there's any loose connections inside but it sounds like you may be in need of a new controller. A few quick searches seem to show newegg having the lowest prices on them currently, although I'd keep my eye out for sales with all the big retail days coming up in the coming weeks.

Could it be my headset as well cause I've heard some headsets are compatible but poorly
