Hey guys, i need advice. Heres sample of my brand new ps4 pro.
https://youtu.be/PMcSUHM1uDU
Its making this noise always. Its going form left back side,so i suppose its hdd. Changing power supply cable or el.plug didnt change anything. Its not that loud but i can hear it even in rest mode. And its super annoying. Can you tell me, should i give it to sony service with 10 days of diagnose? I am very impatient (it was coming like month with delays). Thx for every thoughts.

Solution

From the PS4 forums and Reddit, people reporting the same thing are saying it's just the power supply relay clicking on and off and it's not an issue. Several have reported this. I'd get on Sony's PS4 support page and ask someone to look at your video and see what they think.

Bottom line: you are not alone, but I don't think anything clicking on and off constantly with an electronic component is good for the long term (*if* that's what your issue is).

That doesn't really sound like something from an HDD, failing or not. A relay clicking is plausible. You could always remove the HDD and power it up separately to isolate whether the sound is coming from the HDD or not. I believe just removing the HDD of a PS4 shouldn't affect the warranty or anything like that.
